Hello, my name is Yana Chobitok, I am the owner and general manager of A Lonely Russian Woman Marriage agency.

We are a part of Angelika network of introduction agencies, a highly reputable and well known network with offices in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Latvia, UK, USA and Australia.

I have been involved with Angelika network for over 3 years by now.

Everything started with translator position in one of our local offices in Sevastopol.

I was there when one of our most successful offices was opened back in 2000. I just graduated from the University with degree in English language, and always though that office work is dull and not rewarding. I wanted excitement in my life, and o found it working for Angelika!

From the very first day I was fully involved in the process — personally meeting and talking to hundreds of ladies coming to the office to become new members, explaining why we have to check their passports (we do it to make sure the lady is not married),helping them to fill out applications, breaking the barrier of shyness, explaining the way agency works, answering tons of questions, helping to choose the best pictures, scanning them later, uploading on the site, printing out the letters and pictures from men, processing ladies’ replies. We were sending out 1000’s of Christmas cards to our lady clients, and post men would just go crazy :)

I knew this job was rewarding when I heard the lady was surely smiling over the phone when we were telling her there’s a reply for her from Mr. X, and the courier will deliver it to her door later today.

I did learn every little bit of Standard Operation Procedures — SOP that each of our 30+ local agencies has to follow.

Many things have changed since the day I first learned about Anglika. I got married and moved to Kiev — the capital of beautiful Ukraine.

This is where I manage A Lonely Russian Woman from, keeping to constant touch with all the local agencies.

And run a local Daisy marriage agency in Kiev as well, adding new ladies to our Kiev database. I have personally met and interviewed many of the ladies from Kiev you see on this site.

I have met many great people through the Network, and it really feels great to be a part of professional and friendly team.

The confidence that I have in people I work with is very important cause we are bringing people’s lives together and that’s a great responsibility.
